If you like lakes and you're in this part of Utah you can check out Yellow Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too fine to be true. The summit of Buck Knoll can be observed from Yellow Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Shingle Creek Campground is a tremendous site to camp. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. You'll locate a wonderful lake called Mill Hollow Reservoir near Yellow Lake, and on a fine day you can

| | take a hike along the Nobletts Creek Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Little West Fork is a stream you can check out while here, and a tour to Sandstone Basin revives the spirit. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Yellow Lake you can take a hike along the Littles Fork Trail, and Mill Hollow Dam is beautiful. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. to stop at near Yellow Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Provo River.
The Smith Morehouse Trail is a fine hiking trail near Yellow Lake, and a pleasant close by hotel is Lodge at Stillwater. Camping is available at Mill
Hollow Campground, and after a long day outdoors Daniels Summit Lodge is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains.
For the duration of the days of summer highs here at
Yellow Lake get into the 80's, and the night is a little chillier of course, typically in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Yellow Lake tend to be
in the 10's. Yellow Lake is a location that is rather dehydrated mostly; February is the month that gets the most snow while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
