Yellow Lake is a lake worth visiting. Yellow Lake is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Uinta Mountains. You could also stop at Mill Hollow Reservoir if you're here at Yellow Lake; it's nearby; magnificent hiking is available along the Littles Fork Trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Why not camp at Mill Hollow Campground if you're here at Yellow Lake, and Buck Knoll

This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Lodge at Stillwater is a pleasant choice; there's tremendous hiking along the Nobletts Creek Trail. So many enjoyable things in the Uinta Mountains, just unbelievable. Why not have a look at Mill Hollow Dam while you're here, and a good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Heber City, Ut.

a great local campground; getting to Little West Fork from Yellow Lake is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Provo River; a pleasant site to take a look at is Camp Hollow.
Sandstone Basin is a good site here at Yellow Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Yellow Lake; Smith Morehouse Trail is a tremendous local trail.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Yellow Lake.
Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Yellow Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Not much rainfall falls here
at Yellow Lake; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most snow while June is usually the driest month.
