The beauty of Yankee Meadows Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. Yankee Meadows Reservoir is a location that is relatively dehydrated frequently; during August this area sees the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Thunder Ridge Campground, and Vermillion Castle Campground is a wonderful campground here. Breaks Lodge and Spa is a tremendous place to get some rest, and do stop by Center Creek if you're here at Yankee Meadows Reservoir. The summit of Henderson Hill can be spotted from Yankee Meadows Reservoir, and there are glorious
places to explore along the Spruce Trail.
