This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Brian Head, and if you're here at Yankee Meadows Reservoir it's a great idea to take a look at Yankee Meadows. There's magnificent hiking along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail, and naturally Center Creek flows through this area. Vermillion Castle Campground is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Cedar Breaks Lodge       & Spa. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Alpine Pond Trail It's always great to stop by Sixmile Spring. Be careful coming to Yankee Meadows Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go home again. If you're here, you might as well explore Dark Hollow, and at Yankee Meadows Reservoir you can catch a sight of Henderson Hill. Yankee Meadows Reservoir gets very little rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here,                  and the driest of the months is June. Yankee Meadows Dam is not far at all from Yankee Meadows Reservoir, and Cedar Breaks Lodge and Spa is a magnificent place to get some rest. Throughout the summertime months at Yankee Meadows Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows at Yankee Meadows Reservoir through the wintertime typically sink into the 10's.
