Bonanza RV and Mobile Home Campground is a magnificent local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Dinosaur Inn. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend White River, and Econo Lodge Downtown is a good spot to get some rest. Wooley Reservoir is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; October is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year       is February. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Red Rock Nature Trail, and at Wooley Reservoir you always meet someone from Vernal. Western Heritage RV Park is a good campground nearby. High temperatures at Wooley Reservoir through the summer are in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, typically in the 50's.
