Good hiking is available along the Copes Dugway, and skiing at Elk Meadows is one of those things you just should do. If you need a site to stay Best Western Butch Cassidy Inn is a good choice; from Wood Lake you get a great vista of Circleville Mountain. There's magnificent hiking along the Skyline National Recreation Trail. There's so much to do here at Wood Lake that       you need to camp here for a while, Kents Lake Campground is a tremendous spot for that. It is very arid here at Wood Lake commonly; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most while June is generally the driest month. So many enjoyable things to do here at Wood Lake, too tremendous to be true. An attention-grabbing thing to take a look at right next door to Wood Lake is Anderson Meadow Dam; hiking is a popular thing                  to do around Wood Lake; Bullion Trail is a wonderful local trail. Buck Pastures is a great site here at Wood Lake, and a great close by hotel is Beaver-Days Inn. At Wood Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Wood Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
