A visit to Willis Reservoir is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Smith Canyon Trail, and Willis Reservoir is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Koosharem Campground is a fine local campground. Burnt Flat Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out, and a quick visit to Langdon Creek is undeniably a tremendous idea. | | is close to Mud Spring Draw which is without doubt worth a visit.
Willis Reservoir is pretty dried up usually; September is the wettest month with most rain; January is when it's the driest. It's always glorious to take a look at Mud Spring; everyone loves Burnt Flat. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Willis Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Willis Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during
winter nights. Man, is there plenty of exciting stuff to do in the neighborhood of Willis Reservoir. Willis Reservoir is right by the Third Lefthand Fork Trail; Weber's Piute Trails Inn is a perfect place to get some rest.
In
case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sevier River, and do take a hike on the Koosharem Guard Station Scrub Flat Trail.
