Camping at Paradise Campground is always a tremendous experience, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Sand Lake is just a very short distance away. There's whitewater on Uinta River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you've had enough of Whiterocks Lake, Dollar Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Spirit Lake Campground is a glorious       spot to do that, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Icy Hill Dugway. You just have to love the Uinta Mountains. If you need a place to stay Best Western Inn is a wonderful choice, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Dry Fork Trail. Around Whiterocks Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. Having a fine time at Whiterocks Lake is uncomplicated.                  If the weather is brilliant here at Whiterocks Lake, you can go for a hike along the Shale Dugway; why not stop by Whiterocks Lake Dam since you're here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. During the warm months at Whiterocks Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.
