In Utah there are many beautiful lakes, Whiskey Island Lake is one of them. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Whiskey Island Lake with overnight lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Whiskey Island Lake. Around Whiskey Island Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; April is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest

Best Western Dunmar Inn is a fine site to get some rest; hiking along the Highline Trail is wonderful fun. Camping at Whiskey Island Lake is perfect fun, Highline Trail Head Campground is a perfect local campground, and the panorama of Mount Marsell is stunning. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Butterfly Campground is a great place to camp, and do take a hike on the Notch Mountain Trail.

Island Lake for a wonderful time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lofty Lake Trail. Man, is there lots of exciting stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. Fish Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out; Whiskey Island Lake is not the only place nearby, Bourbon Lake is a nearby lake.
