Oak Creek Campground is a good campground nearby; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fremont River. Stay the night at Pleasant Creek Campground, and Trail Point is reasonably close.
