A great place to camp here at Washburn Reservoir is Monrovian Park Campground, and at Washburn Reservoir you can see Glenwood Mountain. All through the warmest time of the year at Washburn Reservoir       highs are usually in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Washburn Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Near Washburn Reservoir you discover the Third Lefthand Fork Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and lakes are such calm sites, why not take a look at Mud Lake. The Koosharem Guard Station Scrub Flat Trail is a wonderful hiking trail right next door to Washburn                  Reservoir, and there are other locations here than Washburn Reservoir, for example Scrub Flat Reservoir. Washburn Reservoir gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout September while January is mostly the driest month. Sevier River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by; after a long day outdoors Richfield Travelodge is a delightful site to spend a night or two. On a perfect day at Washburn Reservoir you can take a hike along the Second Lefthand Fork Trail, and do put some time aside to spend at Washburn Spring while you're here at Washburn Reservoir.
