W P A Ponds is a pleasant spot to camp, Ferron Campground is a pleasant spot, and you'll discover a lovely lake called Deep Lake. It is very dry here at W P A Ponds typically; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is July. You absolutely must like W P A Ponds. Good hiking is available along the Dairy Trail, and spots like Julius Pasture are great to visit. Go for a hike on the Harmon       Trail; one of the dominant highlights of the surroundings of W P A Ponds is Mount Baldy. Float down the rapids of Ferron Creek in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Manti Country Village Motel. Camping at W P A Ponds is fine fun, Pinchot Campground is a fine local campground, and Temple View Lodge is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Oak Belt Trail, and the scenery at Deep Lake Dam is beautiful.                  This lake is so wonderful. All through the warmest time of the year here at W P A Ponds, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
