This lake is so wonderful. Pinchot Campground is a great local campground. Don’t forget to go to Julius Pasture if you're here at W P A Ponds; Deep Lake Dam has good water scenery. Summertime at W P A Ponds comes with high temperatures in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's.       The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at W P A Ponds temperatures drop to the 10's. Be careful coming to W P A Ponds, you might not ever want to return back home again. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Ferron Creek; probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Deep Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. There are good places to discover along the Harmon Trail, and the panorama                  of picturesque Mount Baldy is pleasant. Not much rain falls here at W P A Ponds; March is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. A tremendous nearby hotel is Willow Creek Inn, and good hiking is available along the Oak Belt Trail.
