There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Ferron Creek, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Gunnison Trail. Camping is available at Cattle Country Mobile Home Campground; going for a hike on the Chris Otteson Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Near Utah Power and Light Ash Reservoir you stumble on the Blue Dugway which is a good hiking       trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Cottonwood Creek. It is very dried out here at Utah Power and Light Ash Reservoir commonly; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest.
