Upper Ottoson Lake

Yellowpine - Ashley National Forest is a nice campground nearby; you must undeniably dedicate some time to Ottoson Basin while you're here at Upper Ottoson Lake. The 5-mile-in-length Upper Stillwater Dam to Route 134 portion is a class II-V portion of whitewater on Rock Creek. This sweep of Rock Creek is suggested for experienced paddlers solely. Whitewater rapids are treacherous things, so you must check the latest conditions prior to departure. Here at Upper
Ottoson Lake you can catch a glimpse of Squaw Peak; there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Highline Trail.
This lake is so wonderful.
