You can take a little trip to Upper Goose Lake Dam since you're here at Upper Goose Lake; while you're here you can take a hike along the Dry Fork Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the Uinta Mountains has to offer. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - VERNAL is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.       There's so much to do here at Upper Goose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brown Lake Campground is a great place for that, and there are plenty of people from Vernal here at Upper Goose Lake. Horseshoe Park is a great place to check out, and a beautiful lake like Lower Goose Lake is a glorious spot to visit. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Upper Goose Lake while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter                  are in the 30's; night lows at Upper Goose Lake through the wintertime mostly descend into the 10's. Around Upper Goose Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls during May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Uinta Mountains is excellent! Upper Goose Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Deep Creek Campground is a delightful local campground, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Uinta Highline Trail. Upper Goose Lake in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise.
