  While you're here at Upper Chain Lake, you could also go to stunning Beaver Lake; needless to say, everybody loves Ashley National Forest. Upper Chain Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a pretty lake called Craig Lake near Upper Chain Lake, and Roberts Pass is a great site to explore.
Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do next to Upper Chain Lake. Upper Chain Lake Dam is not far at all from Upper Chain
    Lake. Near Upper Chain Lake is a wonderful 2-mile-in-length section of whitewater on Yellowstone River, a type II, this is the Swift Creek to Reservoir portion.
