The scenery at Upper Bankhead Dam in close proximity to Upper Bankhead Reservoir is pretty, and dry warm beds await you at Red Stone Inn. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful spot to camp here at Upper Bankhead Reservoir is Oowah Campground, and visiting Arches National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Upper Bankhead Reservoir is pretty dehydrated       ordinarily; throughout the month of October you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the long summer days highs here at Upper Bankhead Reservoir reach the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Upper Bankhead Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's.
