If you need a place to stay Wonderland Inn is a pleasant choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Balsam Reservoir; Aquarius Trail is a nice local trail. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great earth it would be. The Black Burn Trail offers hiking at its best. Thousand Lakes       RV Park is a pleasant local campground, naturally you could also have a look at Middle Balsam Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Rimrock Rustic Inn is a nice place to camp; Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef is a great location to get some rest.
