If you are in Sanpete county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Twin. Going for a hike along the Dairy Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. For the duration of the long summer days at Lake Twin highs are typically in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Lake Twin overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Hiking along

| | the Oak Belt Trail is tremendous fun; after a long day outdoors Temple View Lodge is a glorious location to spend a night or two.
Lake Twin is mostly a relatively waterless place; the month with most of the rain is March while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Campground is a delightful local campground, and Dry Hole Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Palisade Lodge, and Lake Twin is right by the Harmon Trail.
Salina Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; an afternoon playing golf at Palisade Golf Course is always a diversion. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area next to Lake Twin has to offer.
Beaver Creek flows through this region, and a short trip to Spruce Spring is always worthwhile.
You don’t have to go far from Lake Twin to catch a glimpse of the water at Twin Lake Dam, and Bear Hole is a fine spot.
