     Do stop at Rex Dam since you're here at Twin Ponds, and you'll come across a wonderful lake called Rex Reservoir. A tour to Flat Top revitalizes the spirit, and drift down the rapids of Salina Creek in a kayak. Twin Ponds gets very little rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here; June is when it's the driest. While you're here at Twin Ponds you can take a hike along the Oak Belt Trail; camping at Butch Cassidy Campgrounds is always a perfect experience.
 
   So much exciting stuff to do at Twin Ponds, so little time. Take a side journey to Wine Creek, and Purgatory is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Richfield is a delightful choice. A great close by hotel is Budget Host Inn Richfield, and if you came to camp Salina Creek RV Camp is a delightful location to do that.
For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs frequently
 
               are in the 90's at Twin Ponds. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Twin Ponds are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is delightful here at Twin Ponds, you can go for a hike along the Winkel Bob Trail, and since you're here, you could also stop at beautiful Broadhead Lakes.
