near Twin Ponds is Whiskey Wash, and there's whitewater on Muddy Creek for all you adrenaline people. Not much rain falls here at Twin Ponds; August is the wettest month with most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month.
While you're here at Twin Ponds you can take a hike along the Dry Wash Trail; Sand Bench is something you shouldn't miss if you're here.
