This lake is located in the wonderful Book Cliffs. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Book Cliffs. Since you're here at Twin Pond why not visit Big Hole Wash, and of course, this is a splendid neighborhood for people who like lakes, Dead Sheep Pond is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. You can       run the rapids of Colorado River near Twin Pond. Not much rainfall falls here at Twin Pond; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the summer highs here at Twin Pond get into the 90's, and the night is a little colder of course, regularly in the 60's.
