And that's not all you can do here at Twin Lakes. Hiking along the Icy Hill Dugway is wonderful fun. If you're visiting Twin Lakes from Vernal, you won't be the only one; a tremendous spot to camp here at Twin Lakes is Whiterocks Campground. Be careful coming to the Uinta Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Moap Lake is a lake in the       vicinity, and Twin Lakes is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Paradise Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. Twin Lakes gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Uinta Highline Trail; a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Uinta                  River. Throughout the summertime here at Twin Lakes, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Twin Lakes are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
