Twin Lakes is pretty dry typically; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture. Camping at Barker Reservoir Campground is always a tremendous experience; while you're here you can take a hike along the Black Burn Trail. After a long day outdoors Best Western Ruby's Inn is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and a great place       to camp here at Twin Lakes is Escalante State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Summer at Twin Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
