Looking for something near Tanner Reservoir? Ewell Regulating Reservoir is close at hand, and Days Inn Springville is a tremendous place to get some rest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Willow Trail; Tanner Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Utah Lake State Park is a tremendous local campground. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sundance is next to Tanner Reservoir, and the Nebo Basin Trail offers hiking at its best. But

This place, Tanner Reservoir, it completely has so much outdoors fun stuff. Tanner Reservoir is right by the Nebo Peak Trail; there's some flowing water nearby, Beer Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Through the summertime here at Tanner Reservoir, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's.
Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Tanner Reservoir. Tanner Reservoir is ordinarily a quite dried up place;
the month with most of the rain is April, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Provo River is a perfect whitewater spot next to Tanner Reservoir; Tanner Reservoir is not the only spot close by, Spring Lake is a close by lake.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Tanner Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Bench Campground is a fine site for that, and at Tanner Reservoir you always meet someone from Provo-Orem.

The great snow here turns very deep, 42 feet yearly, and that is one of the reasons this is such a fine ski mountain. This ski hill has 7 ski lifts and 4 surface tows, and they are competently maintained and operated by friendly people.
Alta has a reasonable set of trails and an acceptable amount of good ski lifts. This is a nice ski area with lots of different trails; it's totally impossible to get bored here. Alta is a good size ski resort boasting an average elevation difference compared to other US Rockies ski resorts. Alta is skiing only, snowboards are not allowed. The snow-white hills of Utah are something you can’t pass up if you're keen on snowboarding or skiing. On this hill you'll discover 54 different ski trails; it's a magnificent set.
