Beaver Dam Campground is a fine local campground; paddling on Blacks Fork - East Fork is so much fun. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. The good people of Evanston like to hang out nearby, and       Lake Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. If the weather is nice here at Superior Lake, you can go for a hike along the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail. Lakes are perfect; Five Point Lake is a lake that's near Superior Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Swift Creek Campground while you're here at Superior Lake; you're most likely interested in lakes, Little Superior Lake is one of those close by.                  For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Superior Lake reach the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Superior Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uinta Mountains. Near Superior Lake you find the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and Garfield Basin is a stunning place any time of year. At Superior Lake you don’t see much rain; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest.
