If you like lakes and you're in this part of Utah you can check out Stock Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Ogden River offers some brilliant whitewater; McBride Spring is an inspiring place to explore while here. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Stock Pond get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. | | is so wonderful. From Stock Pond you get a nice view of Babbit Shanty Hill; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Sherwood Hills Golf Course.
You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you need a site to stay Howard Johnson Inn is a delightful choice. City, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Weber River. While staying at Stock Pond you could always discover Mahogany Canyon; the skiing at Powder Mountain is nice.
Stock Pond gets very little rain; the month of May
is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Wolf Mountain is close to Stock Pond, and nearby you find the Skyline Trail which is a great hiking trail. Life's too short
to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood of Stock Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Mantua Reservoir; you can stay the night at Mountain Haven Campground. You could also visit South Pond while you're here at Stock Pond; it's nearby, and lots of people from Logan come here.
