The beauty of Stewart Lake attracts many people from all around. Split Mountain Gorge Campground is a perfect local campground, and Kane Hollow is a wonderful place to spend some time. At Stewart Lake you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls through October; February meanwhile is the driest month. On a tremendous day at Stewart Lake you can take a hike along the Red Rock Nature Trail; Econo Lodge Downtown is a wonderful place to get some rest.

| | You definitely have to like Stewart Lake. Bonanza RV and Mobile Home Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Green River. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Stewart Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Stewart Lake drop into the 0's. Ashley Creek is one of the streams close by | |

that might be worth visiting, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Dinosaur Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Here at Stewart Lake you'll perhaps meet some folks from Vernal. This lake is so wonderful. The Daniels Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Stewart Lake, and get dripping wet paddling on White River.
