Around Steinaker Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; October is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. So much entertaining stuff right next door to Steinaker Reservoir, simply unbelievable. Take a hike on the Hideout Eagle Basin Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Vernal. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more enjoyable things to       do in the Uinta Mountains. Very great water scenery is available at Steinaker Dam close to Steinaker Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Arch Dam Campground - Ashley National Forest. Steinaker Reservoir is located in the Uinta Mountains. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Rock Nature Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Steinaker                  Reservoir; Uinta Highline Trail is a magnificent local trail, and if you're here at Steinaker Reservoir, checking out Rock Point is a must. Summertime highs at Steinaker Reservoir usually tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Steinaker Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Antlers is a nice choice, and Steinaker Reservoir is a nice site to camp, Antelope Flat - Ashley National Forest is a nice site.
