This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Steep Creek Lake, you can go for a hike along the Boulder Mail Trail. Sunflower Flat is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Indian Trail. Summer at Steep Creek Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight       hours it's commonly in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Steep Creek Lake drop into the 0's. A brilliant place to camp here at Steep Creek Lake is Pleasant Creek Campground, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Aquarius Trail.
