Spider Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Spider Lake without first going for a hike along the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail. There's so much to do here at Spider Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Dam Campground is a wonderful site for that. The Bear River Smiths Fork Trail offers hiking at its best, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Yellowstone River. Spider Lake is pretty dry commonly; the month
of September is the wettest with most of the rain while March is regularly the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Uinta Mountains. A pleasant visit to Garfield Basin is a fine way to spend an afternoon, and you can take a little tour to Drift Lake Dam if you're here at Spider Lake. All year is a good time in the Uinta Mountains if you like the outdoors. A wonderful lake like Toquer Lake in the

neighborhood of Spider Lake is a tremendous place to stop at, and Spider Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Swift Creek Campground is a glorious local campground.
For the period of the warm months here at Spider Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Spider Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Spider Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. There's great hiking along the High Line Trail, and you'll most likely meet some people from Evanston here.
But wait, there's more to do next to Spider Lake. Get dripping wet paddling on Lake Fork, and do visit Red Castle Lake, it's a wonderful lake.
