Spawn Creek Guzzler is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Crystal Inn Logan is a perfect spot to get some rest, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Bloomington Lake Trail. If the weather is great here at Spawn Creek Guzzler, you can go for a hike along the Hardware Ranch Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Logan River. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows at Spawn Creek Guzzler during the wintertime mostly fall into the 10's.

 | The Limber Pine trail is more of a nature walk than a hike. It's good for kids and those seeking an easy, short trail. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road.... |

Bloomington Lake Trail
 | 15 miles away ...and Bloomington Lake is up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs. There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge. Your can travel north or south with the south direction being the most spectacular The Highline Trail is popular with hikers, horses, mountain bikers, ATV's and motorcycles.
