There's whitewater on Cottonwood Creek for all you adrenaline junkies; good water scenery is available at Petes Hole Dam in the neighborhood of Soup Bowl. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Cox Canyon is a good site to go if you're at Soup Bowl. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Soup Bowl has to offer, you can camp at Seely Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular       thing to do around Soup Bowl; Reeder Trail is a perfect local trail; of course Becks Creek flows through this region. The Dairy Trail offers hiking at its best, and do visit Petes Hole Reservoir, it's a lovely lake. You can run the rapids of Ferron Creek in close proximity to Soup Bowl, and a journey to Thistle Flat revives the spirit. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Soup Bowl. Why not take a refreshing hike along the CCC Trail, and Nephi                  Super 8 Motel is a wonderful spot to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Soup Bowl that you need to camp here for a while, Willow Lake Campground is a great place for that, and a splendid nearby hotel is Manti Motel. While you're here at Soup Bowl, you could also visit charming Petes Hole Reservoir. Not much precipitation falls here at Soup Bowl; most of the rain falls all through September; the driest month is June. Summer at Soup Bowl comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, mostly in the 40's.
