This lake is so wonderful. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Solomon Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Elkhorn Campground is a splendid local campground, and unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes, Farrell Pond is       a lake around here. At Solomon Reservoir during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Solomon Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. The Meadow Gulch Salt Gulch Trail offers hiking at its best, and Wonderland Inn is a great location to get some rest. Solomon Reservoir is right by the Great                  Western Trail. Lakes are good; Meeks Lake is a lake that's next to Solomon Reservoir. A delightful place to camp here at Solomon Reservoir is Elk Campground, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Fremont River. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Jackson Dugway is splendid fun, and don't miss out on a journey to Capitol Reef National Park while you're here.
