A brilliant location for whitewater paddling near Soldier Creek Reservoir is Currant Creek, and a journey to Soldier Springs will fill your soul with great feelings. Soldier Creek Reservoir gets very little precipitation; most of the snow falls during February, and June is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Badger Point Campground, and if you're here, you might as well have a look at Pine Hollow. On a beautiful                  day you get a view of Green Knoll from Soldier Creek Reservoir; there's great hiking along the Soldier Creek Campground Loop Trail. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Strawberry River; as expected Soldier Creek flows through this area. There's so much to do here at Soldier Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Renegade Point Campground is a splendid location for that, and a great close by hotel is Lodge at Stillwater. This lake is so wonderful.
