Dinosaur National Monument is a very great site to stop at near Snyder Seeps; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Daniels Trail. Camping is available at Rainbow Park Campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Dudley Pond. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area close to Snyder Seeps has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Split Mountain Gorge Campground is a fine place to camp, and whitewater paddling is great on Green River. This lake is so wonderful. Through the warm months at Snyder Seeps temperatures are frequently in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down
into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Snyder Seeps. Snyder Seeps is mostly a rather arid location; most of the rain falls during May; the driest month of the year is January.
