Snow Lakes is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Sandcreek RV Park is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef is a fine place to get some rest. Snow Lakes is a location that is relatively dry generally; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.       Cook Pasture is a wonderful place to stretch your legs a bit, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Aquarius Trail. If you get bored of Snow Lakes, you could also stop by nearby Cook Lake, and going for a hike along the Pollywog Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Stay the night at Rimrock Rustic Inn, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Stair Trail. Through the                  warm days of summer here at Snow Lakes, high temperatures generally reach the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Snow Lakes dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
