Don't leave Smiths Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Browns Peak Trail; if you're here, you could also check out picturesque Smiths Reservoir. Just can't get enough of the Wasatch Range. Rock Canyon is a brilliant spot to spend some time at; Shurtz Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Throughout the summer, highs typically are in the 90's at Smiths Reservoir. When       the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Smiths Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side trip to Coffeepot Creek; a short visit to Coffeepot Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Days Inn Springville. And if that's not enough there's loads more cool things to do in                  the Wasatch Range. There's good hiking along the Sky High Trail; Smiths Dam is a beautiful place. All the outdoors fun things close to Smiths Reservoir will keep you coming back many times. Camping is available at Three Forks Campground; get soaked paddling on Spanish Fork. Camping at Palmyra Campground is always a great experience, and the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best.
