The warmest time of the year at Smith Creek Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Smith Creek Lakes during the wintertime regularly sink into the 10's. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. Stay the night at Lagoon's RV Park and Campground,       and going for a hike on the Skyline Trail is always a great adventure. Smith Creek Lakes is pretty dried up usually; most of the rain falls during April while July is typically the driest month. The summit of Francis Peak can be seen from Smith Creek Lakes, and a good nearby hotel is Best Western Canyon Pines. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. So much cool stuff to do here in the Wasatch Range, too delightful to be true. Country Inn                  & Suites By Carlson Bountiful is a perfect location to get some rest, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Weber River. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Snowbasin and strap some skis to your feet, and you can go for a hike on the The Sheep Trail. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Smith Creek Lakes. Looking for something close to Smith Creek Lakes? Wilkinson Reservoir is close by, and if you come at the right time of year, Ogden River offers some delightful whitewater. A trip to California National Historic Trail is recommended. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Smith Creek Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Cherry Hill Recreation Park. A day on the slopes of Wolf Mountain is just what you need; Smith Creek Lakes is a place with many visitors from Ogden-Clearfield. This lake is so wonderful.
