Try Mill Fork Creek, and the peak of Black Mountain can be made out from Slide Lake. Near Slide Lake you discover the Oak Belt Trail which is a great hiking trail, and drift down the rapids of Ferron Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Slide Lake you can take a hike along the Harmon Trail; do stop by Three Lakes, it's a wonderful lake. Baseball Flat is right here at Slide Lake, and Slide Lake is a       magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Ferron Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and after a long day outdoors Manti Motel is a glorious place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 90's at Slide Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
