What a nice lake Slide Lake is. Any time is a nice time at Slide Lake if you love the outdoors. There are fine sites to explore along the Dairy Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cottonwood Creek. At Slide Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. | | Slide Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Manti Motel; whitewater paddling is splendid on Ferron Creek.
Going for a hike on the Reeder Trail is always a good adventure, and Slide Lake is not the only place close by, Grassy Lake is a close by lake. There's so much to do here at Slide Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Willow Lake Campground is a glorious spot for that, and not far from Slide Lake you get some magnificent water | |

scenery at Academy Mill Reservoir Dam. A journey to Thistle Flat rejuvenates the spirit. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Slide Lake has to offer, you can camp at Seely Creek Campground.
Josephite Point is gorgeous
and can be distinguished from Slide Lake; do pop by Coyote Creek since you're here at Slide Lake. If you need a site to stay Best Western Shaheen Motel is a nice choice. Slide Lake is pretty dried up generally; September is the wettest
month with most rain, and June is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Slide Lake you could always discover Olsen Canyon, and you can go for a hike on the CCC Trail.
