While you're here at Slide Lake, you could also go to picturesque Grass Flat Reservoir; the scenery at Academy Mill Reservoir Dam is beautiful. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Stay the night at Willow Lake Campground; the peak of Josephite Point can be seen from Slide Lake. Slide Lake is right by the CCC Trail, and Best Western Shaheen Motel is a splendid location to get some rest. This lake is       so wonderful. Coyote Creek is a tremendous local stream; Cottonwood Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Dairy Trail, and if you need a site to stay Manti Motel is a delightful choice. Seely Creek Campground is a great campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Ferron Creek. The warmest time of the year at Slide Lake arrives with high temperatures in                  the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Slide Lake plunge into the 0's. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Slide Lake. Don’t forget to take a look at Thistle Flat since you're here at Slide Lake; Olsen Canyon is certainly a great location to stop by. Academy Mill Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and the Reeder Trail offers hiking at its best.
