This lake is located in the wonderful Wasatch Range. For the period of the summertime, highs usually are in the 90's at Silver Lake Islet, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Silver Lake Islet nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already       but it goes on, the Wasatch Range has it all. Go for a hike on the The Sheep Trail; Stein Ericksen Lodge is a good location to get some rest. Yeah, come here to Silver Lake Islet for a great time. You get a wonderful view of Clayton Peak from Silver Lake Islet, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Provo River. This lake is so wonderful. Near Silver Lake Islet you hit upon the Lake Desolation Trail which is a good hiking trail, and a wonderful lake                  like Bloods Lake is a great place to check out. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Wasatch Range. A tremendous place to camp here at Silver Lake Islet is Deer Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, East Canyon Creek offers some great whitewater. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Wasatch Range. Golf can be played at Park City Golf Club; what would winter be without some skiing at Brighton. Silver Lake Islet is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Wasatch Mountain State Park is a pleasant local campground, and everybody loves Bonanza Flat. Silver Lake Islet Dam is a place that is close to Silver Lake Islet, and going for a hike on the Mount Timpanogos Trail is always a pleasant adventure. So much amusing stuff to do here at Silver Lake Islet, too pleasant to be true. After a long day outdoors Three Kings Resort is a good location to spend a night or two, and Guardsman Pass is another fine location to go to close by. From a rain point of view Silver Lake Islet is a quite common place; most of the rain falls throughout April while July is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
