You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Park City Mountain Resort since you're here; going for a hike on the Lake Desolation Trail is always a good adventure. Summer at Silver Lake Islet comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter       nights at Silver Lake Islet are in the 10's. Having a great time in the Wasatch Range is trouble-free. A nice close by hotel is Stein Ericksen Lodge. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Silver Lake Islet has to offer, you can camp at Wasatch Mountain State Park. Silver Lake Islet is located in the Wasatch Range. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. You'll meet a lot of folks from Provo-Orem here. What would winter be without some skiing at Brighton, and paddling on East Canyon Creek is so much fun. Get dripping wet paddling on Provo River, and while you're here why not explore Guardsman Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Lake Islet Dam is a location that is in the vicinity of Silver Lake Islet. There's so much to do here at Silver Lake Islet that you need to camp here for a while, Deer Creek is a wonderful location for that. The yearly rainfall here at Silver Lake Islet is about average; the month of April is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Wasatch Range has to offer. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Lake Brimhall, and splendid hiking is available along the The Sheep Trail.
