Through the months of summer here at Silver Lake Flat, high temperatures regularly reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's while Silver Lake Flat overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Near Silver Lake Flat you discover the Lake Desolation Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Mile Rock Campground is a great local       campground. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn Orem-Provo North is a great place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Big Cottonwood Creek. But wait, there's more to do near Silver Lake Flat. Major Evans Gulch is a delightful site to spend some time at, and the Mount Timpanogos Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. A visit to Holman Flat revitalizes the soul, and the slopes of Brighton are                  so inviting noone can resist. It is very arid here at Silver Lake Flat mostly; most of the rain falls through April while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more fun things to do here in the Wasatch Range. Deer Creek is near Silver Lake Flat and is always a diversion to take a look at; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Indian Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Silver Lake Flat from Provo-Orem, you won't be the only one, and a tremendous close by hotel is Value Place American Fork. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more fun things to do in the Wasatch Range. You can take a little trip to Silver Lake Flat Dam while you're here at Silver Lake Flat; Silver Lake Flat is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Warnick Campground is a fine place to camp nearby. Just can't get enough of Silver Lake Flat. Alta is a good local ski area, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Tibble Fork Reservoir is just a very short distance away. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Wasatch Range is so good! A spree to California National Historic Trail is recommended. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wasatch Range.
