This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Mile Rock Campground is a fine place to camp; the Mount Timpanogos Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Wasatch Range. Skiing at Alta is one of those things you just ought to do; you'll meet a lot of people from Provo-Orem here. Thunder Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Silver Glance Lake; Provo River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Silver Glance Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lake Desolation Trail, and Warnick Campground is a delightful local campground.
