Not much rainfall falls here at Shurtz Lake; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while July is mostly the driest month. A pleasant tour to The Pasture is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon, and a lake nearby is Strongs Lake. Shurtz Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wasatch Range. An afternoon playing golf at Spanish Oaks Municipal Golf Course is always a pleasure, and get your heart beating       on the good whitewater of Spanish Fork. This location, the Wasatch Range, has so much outdoors fun things. On a pleasant day at Shurtz Lake you can take a hike along the Summit Trail, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Cotton Tree Inn is a wonderful choice. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Wasatch Range. There's so much to do here at Shurtz Lake that you need to camp here for a while, East Bay RV Park is a glorious place for that,                  and Creer Hollow is definitely a good place to stop by.
