Camping at Smith and Morehouse Campground is always a wonderful experience, and nearby Box Canyon is a great place to go. Shingle Mill Lake is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Nobletts Creek Trail; Best Western Holiday       Hills is a great spot to get some rest. Lakes are delightful; Smith and Morehouse Reservoir is a lake that's near Shingle Mill Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Smith Morehouse Trail. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Castle Lake, and some wonderful nature is available in The Pines. Shingle Mill Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta                  Mountains. Mud Lake Flat is a perfect location; if you come at the right time of year, Provo River offers some nice whitewater. So many amusing things to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too tremendous to be true. Shingle Mill Lake is in the vicinity of Smith and Morehouse Dam which is a delightful spot definitely worth checking out, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Littles Fork Trail. A good spot to camp here at Shingle Mill Lake is Camperworld Knotty Pine, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Chalk Creek. At Shingle Mill Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's.
