Shingle Mill Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. Around Shingle Mill Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is April; the driest month is July. Having a great time in the Uinta Mountains is easy. Smith and Morehouse Dam has pleasant water scenery and it's near Shingle Mill Lake, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Nobletts Creek Trail. But wait, there's

There's some flowing water close by, Bear Trap Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Castle Lake. A wonderful location to camp here at Shingle Mill Lake is Smith and Morehouse Campground, and the Littles Fork Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. go to, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Holiday Hills. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chalk Creek, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Stillwater is a nice place to spend a night or
two. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Shingle Mill Lake; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Shingle Mill Lake throughout the winter
generally fall into the 10's. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Shingle Mill Lake is so good! Camping is available at Camperworld Knotty Pine; a visit to Mud Lake Flat rejuvenates the spirit. Get wet paddling on Provo River.
If the weather is good here at Shingle Mill Lake, you can go for a hike along the Smith Morehouse Trail, and Box Canyon is a good place to check out.
