If you are in this part of Utah make sure to pay a visit to Shingle Mill Lake. Be careful coming to the Uinta Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Shingle Mill Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Smith and Morehouse Campground is a great local campground; if you need a site to stay Best Western Holiday Hills is a fine choice. Smith and Morehouse Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and you can go for a hike on the Littles Fork

Lake, and a quick spree to Bear Trap Creek is absolutely a great idea. At Shingle Mill Lake you don’t see much rain; April is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. High temperatures at Shingle Mill Lake
through the days of summer are in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Shingle Mill Lake. Having a fine time at Shingle Mill
Lake is uncomplicated. Camping at Camperworld Knotty Pine is always a nice experience; there are pleasant spots to look at along the Nobletts Creek Trail.
