Shiner Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Shiner Reservoir get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Shiner Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Uinta Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Get soaked paddling

| | on Green River, and obviously, this is a good area for people who like lakes, Box Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uinta Mountains. Whitewater paddling is fine on Green River; if you came to camp Rainbow Park Campground is a nice place to do that. All the outdoors exciting things in the neighborhood of Shiner Reservoir will keep you coming back time and again. There is a glorious hiking trail near Shiner Reservoir | |

called the Jones Hole Trail. There's so much to do here at Shiner Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Split Mountain Gorge Campground is a glorious spot for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta
Mountains. Here at Shiner Reservoir you'll in all probability meet some folks from Vernal, and if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Downtown is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day at Shiner Reservoir
you can take a hike along the Red Rock Nature Trail; Best Western Dinosaur Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You must positively dedicate some time to Bear Wallow while you're here at Shiner Reservoir.
Shiner Reservoir is a location that is rather dry ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is April; January on the other hand is the driest. The Daniels Trail is a fine hiking trail next to Shiner Reservoir; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Bullwinkle Reservoir.
