Sheep Creek Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. Flaming Gorge KOA Camping Reso is a great local campground; close by you locate the Uinta Highline Trail which is a good hiking trail. At Sheep Creek Reservoir through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs       in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Sheep Creek Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Browne Lake; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Icy Hill Dugway. At Sheep Creek Reservoir you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least                  moisture. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do near Sheep Creek Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Brown Lake Campground is a tremendous place to camp, and you can take a little trip to Sheep Creek Dam since you're here at Sheep Creek Reservoir. Just can't get enough of the Uinta Mountains. Sheep Creek Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Vernal, and of course Beaver Creek flows through this neighborhood. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Uinta Mountains.
