A cool spot to pop by near Secret Lake is Devils Castle, and a pleasant close by hotel is Altas Rustler Lodge. You completely must like the Wasatch Range. Lakes are good; Pittsburg Lake is a lake that's next to Secret Lake, and going for a hike on the Mount Timpanogos Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Westgate Park City Resort And Spa is a great location to get       some rest, and the panorama of Mount Baldy is striking. Secret Lake is pretty dried up mostly; most of the rain falls all through April while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are pleasant places to look at along the The Sheep Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Alta since you're here. So many amusing things to do here in the Wasatch Range, too great to be true. This is no spot for people who don’t                  like to have a good time. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of East Canyon Creek, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Lake Desolation Trail. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Secret Lake. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Brighton, and camping at Mile Rock Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp The Spruces Campground is a fine place to do that, and do set aside some time for Albion Basin since you're here at Secret Lake. Man, is there a lot of amusing things to do in the Wasatch Range. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling near Secret Lake is Provo River, and Collins Gulch is another great place to pop by close by. Not far from Secret Lake, you'll stumble on Lake Catherine which is a beautiful lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Provo-Orem here. All through the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 90's at Secret Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
