Scout Lake is ordinarily a rather waterless place; the month with most of the rain is August; February on the other hand is the driest. You can run the rapids of Fremont River next to Scout Lake, and don't leave Scout Lake without first going for a hike along the Aquarius Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are nice; Round Lake is a lake that's next to Scout Lake; brilliant hiking is available along       the Stair Trail. Through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Scout Lake, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, typically in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Scout Lake sink into the 0's. Bowery Flat is a pretty location any time of year, and there's some flowing water nearby, Behanin Creek is a stream you can stop by                  during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Scout Lake you get some brilliant water scenery at Oak Creek Dam; a great close by hotel is Torrey-Days Inn Capitol Reef N.P.. Scout Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. If you're here at Scout Lake, do take a tour to Browns Point; you can go for a hike on the Indian Trail.
