    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Utah you can check out Sargent Number One Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Provo River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby; The Canyons has great slopes and a friendly staff. So many entertaining things to do here in the Wasatch Range, too great to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Stag Lodge, and going for a hike along the Union Pacific Rail Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this  
   vicinity. Sargent Number One Reservoir is located in the Wasatch Range.
Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Sargent Number One Reservoir is so good! On a great day at Sargent Number One Reservoir you can take a hike along the Nobletts Creek Trail, and camping is available at Camperworld Echo Island Park. Man, is there a lot of entertaining stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. You could also have a look at Elkhorn Reservoir since you're here at Sargent
 
               Number One Reservoir; it's nearby, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Holiday Hills is a fine location to spend a night or two.
While you're here at Sargent Number One Reservoir you can take a hike along the Littles Fork Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Park City Mountain Resort in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Sargent Lakes, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chalk Creek. Why not stop at Sargent Number One Dam while you're here, and camping at Rockport State Park is always a glorious experience.
All through the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the 80's at Sargent Number One Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sargent Number One Reservoir plunge into the 10's. Sargent Number One Reservoir gets very little rainfall; during April this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Great ride from above Woodland to the 1000 E. bridge (which is a good scare during high water, 1500 cfs). After the bridge the log jams, second diversion dam and constant river splits can be fun in the right craft (13 ft raft, not recommended). Great rush!...
Yeah...this river especially the lower part...really rocks....

...ls; it's totally impossible to get bored here. Alta is a good size ski resort boasting an average elevation difference compared to other US Rockies ski resorts. Alta is skiing only, snowboards are not allowed. The snow-white hills of Utah are something you can’t pass up if you're keen on snowboarding or skiing. On this hill you'll discover 54 different ski trails; it's a magnificent set.

This ski resort has stronger snowfall than the local average each snow season. The marvelous mountain surroundings of Utah and great ski trails have ski people coming from far and near. Skiing and snowboarding here in Utah is a nice thing to do the whole ski season. Getting a great workout and spending some quality time in the outdoors is better than anything.

There are 5 independantly owned lodges at Alta, catering to a wide variety of clientelle.
