What a nice lake Santa Clara Reservoir is. A great nearby hotel is Red Cliffs Inn; if the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a tremendous panorama of Black Knolls from Santa Clara Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Santa Clara Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Black Knolls Reservoir is a nearby lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Santa Clara Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at St George Campground. Whitewater paddling is great on Virgin

There's so much to do here at Santa Clara Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Saint George RV Campground is a good spot for that; if you're here you can play some golf at Green Spring Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Americas Best Inns-St. George is a pleasant choice, and there are plenty of people from St. George here at Santa Clara Reservoir. | |

For the period of the warm months at Santa Clara Reservoir highs are usually in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Santa Clara Reservoir

 | 11 miles away As of May 2009, water level is high. Water is very clean with minimal pollution. Visitor numbers are rising!...As of June, 2007, the water level has dropped significantly due to irrigation, evaporation, and insufficient rainfall.......sting array of birds perched on branches overhead. Voices really carry over the water there, so if you don't want conversations broadcasted, be sure to keep your voice low even when trekking in the heavy brush. On the western side, there is a rudimentary launching dock where you can strap on a life jacket and paddle out onto the lake, if you wish to bring a non-motorized water vessel. Also, there is a pier to cast a fishing line when the water is stocked with Bass. There's a saying in southern Utah that if you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes and it'll change. At Ivins Reservoir, the summer sun rises over the water with blinding intensity and sets with tranquility in the east. One moment you're looking up a clear blue sky, the next, you're staring at cloud formations. The sun and clouds often work in dramatic concert, casting shadows on nearby cliffs.
